An afternoon at the Sports Centre at MCC watching kids hockey.
I thought I would take my camera and get a few shot of the kids playing hockey Saturday afternoon.
Sports photography is a lot of fun and not as easy as you might think. I had my Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 with the ISO up to 800 to a 1000 just to get a decent shutter speed to stop action. I also had to deal with large strobes bouncing light around the ice rink. Those strobes threw off my white balance at times.
If you like sports photography and you can’t get access to professional sporting events, this is certainly an alternative.
